The 426 is a upgrade of the 2009-2010 to a 2011 is what I was told , but now I am confused as is others. It is entered as a 2009 - 426. We started it up today and everything seems good except the windows stoped working . I guess they are not 426 compatible. Now we have to get them working. Will they not work with 16 volt? I converted it from 12v to 16v and they stopped working.
The 426 sounds real good. Dan

The hood issue made them change - the combination could not be used in an 11 with a flat hood
09 + 10 hood works IMHO - Good after thought Ron

If you got a 426 Gen III from Arrow, either complete or unassembled, you will be rebadged as an 11. Originally it was to be a 13, but the final version was rebadged as a 11. The 426 has the new motor, scooped hood, and available 9 inch rear. All was to make a competitive shoot out car. The specs are almost identical to the 427 Copo motor. Now you have it.

No, you need a blown SCJ or DP to 'destroy the integrity'. COPO's are ok cause they are Bow Ties. But then again I played this record at 78 RPM and listened about the downfall with the 62 up Max Wedge, the 64 up 426 Elephant, and all the other muscle cars. Seems like most got over it. Some will never get over it. Most of them got Chevys. But you gotta watch it, the Indians are starting to outnumber the Coyboys. Is that politically correct? I guess you could have a CJ without a blower and still 'destroy the integrity'.

I thought your car was what stock eliminator was supposed to be. Thirty five years ago at Indy if you could imagine it someone had one in stock.

It was somewhat related to the 12 to 16 conversion and manifested itself in mysterious ways - pretty sure the controller is "bunged" Check with them (Phil or Tony) 909-941-7800 to obtain one which works
