Coming home, I left the track at 1:45 pm and got home 8 hours later because of frequent traffic jams in Massachusetts and Connecticut on 495, 90 and I-84. My route home was 125 to 495 to 90 to 84 to 684 to the Sawmill River Parkway to 287, across the Tappan Zee, to the Garden State Parkway to the NJ Turnpike to the PA Turnpike. I went up the same way except I took 684 the whole way and did not take the Sawmill River Parkway. BTW, is it true that Massachusetts is the Native American word for "Traffic Jam," and that Connecticut means "He who drives under the speed limit in the left lane?"
