The Edelbrock R4B intake is listed p/n 4488409 and had factory part numbers cast on them for both '69-'69&'70&up engines.
The group19 cam to my knowlege, and I installed quite a few of them, had .477" lift.
The group19 Holley carb,p/n 4885730 was actually a Holley 950cfm 3 bbl,list 3916.
Just imagine if that carb was approved instead of the 780 !
Also available were 4bolt main blocks, and even a 8 quart oil pan P/N 4485741.
While I'd love to see what can be done with these new parts, and I'm really glad to see the 4300 Motorcraft carb superceeded, only the surface was scratched with regards to potential without these parts.

Tom, so I guess I should ask for all the trans am parts that were in the Chevy parts book in 1970 and 1971. It seems to me that I remember something in the rule book saying that special dealer only installed parts were not legal. I know that in 1969 the cross ram manifold with 2 holleys and the off road cam was available on the Z28 from the factory in the trunk and yet that has never been legal. Where does all this bs come from?
