Then he put it all back together for stock class and it ran way under. Those engine with the 6 degree?? valve angle just dont like to flow with RPM like you need to make power on the top. There is a reason they were the premiere engine for tree stump puller applications. Small bore, big stroke, small heads=average horsepower, high torque not what you need in Super Stock. Pontiacs are bad enough, Buicks with their big bore smaller strokes are better.
