First thing you need to do is scale it, its probably heavier than you think. I think the Afco double ajustables work good on the rear, I usually limit front end travel, but my car is 50/50, of course 30x9 Hoosier radial, 28 inch moroso up front. Bob West would also be a wealth of information on this subject, "72 Chevelle"
