Sorry to break the news but you guys are only fifty-two years late to be complaining about eight-second elapsed times or big speeds on a nine inch-wide tire. You should've directed your concerns to a Mr. Socrates Christopher Karamesines in April of 1960 when he ran 8.80s at over 204 mph on a pair of 8.20 X 15s.

I won't even bother telling you the record for a nine-inch tire since it's over seventy-five miles per hour faster than even a AAA/S entry will run.
