Thumbs down Re: Minimum and maximum weight for Stk and S/S

Go back to running the natural class ONLY.....no moving up or down and no more than a certain amout of weight over your class min. max. End of problem and the end of these stupid games that are being played by some of you. No more running to hide from another racer that might be faster than you.

I would agree. It would seem much more straight forward to make the "numbers" the two minimum weights. Fall anywhere in that window, inclusive, and you're good. For a whopping 5 pounds, it seems rather silly to muddy things up...

I agree with Fletcher. KISS principle. Easy to list the minimums for each class the car can compete in.

It can't be done that way. Just for an example, my Turismo is 225lbs heavy for DF/S, but is 400lbs light for EF/S. (which points to the class structure being jacked up in my opinion, but that's the framework we have to work with currently... and I think it could be argued that since they have their new 'class singles combo', they could reinstate the old FWD classes, but I digress)

In aa/sa or ss/aa you could not weigh more than a/sa or ss/a the only place it would be an issue is at the heaviest class.

WTF is a "salty dog" ?Who cares if its not 1970. The more screwed up the rules are by letting more get away with crap the more problems the tech crew have in keeping up with it. All you guys think of is "Its all about me and what can I get away with". Makes no difference to me. Its all a bracket race anyway and the new cars with the bogus HP have lowered stock and S/S to the level of whale s#it.

Sounds simple to me. Gotta be at least 5 lb light for the next class down, right?
