Default Re: are the 2008 ford still in stock

Frank, When I tech a GTX I usually ask the driver if it is a GTX or if it is a Road Runner with GTX emblems. A GTX has a natural class different than a Road Runner.

The first year I was a techman back in 1969, I teched a new Road Runner that had a 440/375. The guy swore it was a 383 and was factory original. The engine was even painted the 383 color. I disagreed and proved it was a 440. Just so he could race I classed the car as a GTX. Later I found out the guy paid the dealer extra to have the 440 put in after he blew up the 383 under warranty.

I learned about B blocks and RB blocks early on. I even tried to teach my fellow techmen the difference but somehow it doesn't seem to matter anymore.
