Same blue color as Maine lobsters and the ones you catch under the Verranzano Narrows Bridge. LOL[/QUOTE]
Hope you get more than two bites out of those lobsters. This thing turned red when we boiled it just like a lobster does. Most of the other crawfish from this area are brownish colored and normal sized. We have trapped about four or five of these over the past several years. Very good to eat! |

A little more to eat on the lobsters I didn't do it long (helped out for about a month) but I had them up to 7 pounds. Much bigger than most mouths. LOL

Wonder how it will be handled when there is not enough time to run class as sometimes before .They would just give it to the quickest qualifier... That would work in the event there was more than 1 car in the class ,but what happens to the rest of them that would have had to run a combo.. (maybe tie it into 1st round ? i dunno) Hmmmmm just another question that will probably be asked.......

My guess is that the fastest of all the single classes would be the class winner.

Man, if you're trapping those, we need to find someone who can breed and raise them! I'd be trying that if we had any of those 5" critters in this part of TN.

Here is the real deal on the crawfish. The Cajun Crawfish absorb the hazardous liquid used for boiling better than their more northerly brothers. Come to the Cajun Nationals and observe the preparation. Anyone who has been to the Cajuns has noted on the turnoff about a mile from the track all the industrial installation; heaters, compressors propane and more. That is where they make the boiling liquid. That stuff added to C12 is worth two tenths. That stuff with beer is worth four tenths. A potato and sausage soaked in the "water" with a beer and C12 is over a second. And yall thought it was because you could look in the drainage ditches and see where sea level is that day.

You ought to see a big lobster They have claws like a boxing glove, and can crush a hard clam like a sponge.
