I can't believe you or anyone else can defend this bogus BS. These cars have no business in the traditional stock classes, they were never produced as a street legal car and the motors are not even crate motors. They are just a bunch of parts from the hi po catalogs of Ford and Chrysler. Let me have a set of fast burn heads, a 520 solid roller cam, a victor intake and a dominator carb plus 11.5 to 1 compression and rate my motor at 285 and let the games begin.

Greg. I was answering a comment that my combos were bogus. Or do you agree the cars I've run are bogus?

Even I can do that.

Also cam position, lift and duration changes boost level on all Turbo or Supercharged cars.
Art, there is way more variables that can be altered...in a forced air configuration... Boost is not the only secret to make usable power on the strip.

Those same secrets can be used for N/A cars. If you port your heads they flow more air.
I was saying if you change the duration, cam timing, etc. you can change the boost number.

This is just a guess and I could be wrong, but I don't believe he was referring to the quantity produced.

I will answer the question then, I would say your Hemi challenger would qualify as a race car but the rest you listed are about as much of a race car as a VW bug. Sure there are spec's in the guide, but most poeple wouldn't think of them as race car may be you do, this not the same situation that we have now with these new under rated cars.

The Turbo dodges have been in the clasification guides since 1984. It's not built by GM?
My Neon is pounds per cubic inch. There is no HP factor. What's your point?
PS I have qualified number 1 at an NHRA event with every car I have raced.

I don't want to put words in his mouth, but the way I took it was he meant bogus factor.

I don't know about your current ride, but any car that can go 2 seconds under the index I would say the factor is just a little off.

Artie, His point was to take a shot at FWD cars, and therefore at you, in total anonymity .

Nice
