It can be done for less money than a 350 Chevy and is just perfect for a Fox-body Mustang in the GT classes. ok so-forgive my ongoing ignorance as I have never taken the time to fully understand the entire GT-MX-SS-(B,C etc) S division of classes.
however-my 67 Fairlane could be set up with said 352, and would only have to make minimum weight of 2670 with this combo (doubt it could get that light, just sayin) to fit in GT/GA . CUrrently a 977 record set at Atco, in a cobalt/cavalier, I think. index of 10.90. said mustang in example would weigh the same (except I have a caged fairlane). Capt CJ, how much power does said 352 have to make to run 9.60s at 2670 lbs in a mustang or whatever?
