If a guy wants to run Super Stock, a Fox-body with a 352 is the LEAST expensive way to go really fast, and it is a Ford, not a small block Chevy. I borrowed some technology from my Cobra Jet program, made some changes, and it came out really good. BTW, this is the OLD 352 from 1964, not the new one.
ok so-forgive my ongoing ignorance as I have never taken the time to fully understand the entire GT-MX-SS-(B,C etc) S division of classes.
however-my 67 Fairlane could be set up with said 352, and would only have to make minimum weight of 2670 with this combo (doubt it could get that light, just sayin) to fit in GT/GA . CUrrently a 977 record set at Atco, in a cobalt/cavalier, I think. index of 10.90. said mustang in example would weigh the same (except I have a caged fairlane). Capt CJ, how much power does said 352 have to make to run 9.60s at 2670 lbs in a mustang or whatever?
