Thanks for the interest.
It is a 50 English Anglia. This car was built by my Dad Gerry Erickson in 74. Driven and Owned by Clyde Birch. This car held the NHRA D/A National Record. Powered by 289 with a C4. This was a wild car. Hook hard and straight. They sold this car and built this A/G Anglia with a Injected Boss 429.

Are you sure it's not a '60? I've been digging around online and found a pic of one that looks the same, but is listed as a '60 not a '50.

Here are some pics of mine out for it's maiden voyage. The first one was taken at 11pm the night before. Only got 7 hours sleep in the last two nights. Talk about a last minute thrash.

Does anyone have any pics of the 69 Fairlane that was part of the 69-70 Jeg's team? I believe Jeg's built the car with Moserter Ford. Dave Merkle raced the car in 69 and 70. My dad bought the car in 1972. It was originally candy apple red with a white top and white interior.

Has anyone other than myself had a problem with the state of North Carolina about overlength permits for your racing rigs?? They are telling me that there is a 3 mile stretch of road that I cannot legally use to get to the track from I-85. If this is true, how is any racer going to get there???

This picture is of a 1949-1953 Anglia called by Ford the model E494A.
There is another picture of an Anglia 100E that was manufactured from 1953-1959 that seems to be confusing some people. Being the owner of several Cortina's I can assure you that none have been pictured in this thread.
