Judging by the front grill and what looks like a 60 degree v6 ,i would say that is a ford Cortina. ?

I believe that the little English car is called a "Hillman". My father used to have one back in the 60's.

Nope. It's a Ford Cortina. It was manufactured by Ford in England. They were imported to the US for a short time in the 60's.

Thanks for the interest.
It is a 50 English Anglia. This car was built by my Dad Gerry Erickson in 74. Driven and Owned by Clyde Birch. This car held the NHRA D/A National Record. Powered by 289 with a C4. This was a wild car. Hook hard and straight. They sold this car and built this A/G Anglia with a Injected Boss 429.

Are you sure it's not a '60? I've been digging around online and found a pic of one that looks the same, but is listed as a '60 not a '50.

Here are some pics of mine out for it's maiden voyage. The first one was taken at 11pm the night before. Only got 7 hours sleep in the last two nights. Talk about a last minute thrash.
