I just came from the hospital.. The Shoe is some fighter!!!
Spirits are high - but still in intensive care.. One request from the Hospital... Please do not call there. They are getting hundreds of calls, and can not forward a call to his room.. and they can not give a patient's status to anyone over the phone.. The hospital realizes they have a 'celebrity' in their presence.. based on the amount of visitors and phone calls..! ! ! As I was leaving he told me - "Don't worry, I'll be fine", as he winked at me.. Get well JIM... Sal
