I believe that the trailer is covered while towing by the truck insurance, but not the contents.

I doubt your would find any insurance on a race vehicle while it is under its own power, even just driving around the pits.

I have my 30' enclosed trailer covered for replacement value through State Farm, my auto insurance company, for $37 every six months. It doesn't cover contents, just the trailer itself.

I use Bill Horton at Stone Agency. It covers me for everything except going down the track.

Thumbs up Re: Trailer Insurance

BISA Insurance is the only all the time INCLUDING ON THE TRACK insurance available PERIOD. ....CRASH, BURN, THEFT, ETC....
BISA also offers an additional coverage that will cover yourself if you cross the centerline and damage another car too.

They usually pay within a week...

I wish I would have done it before my rollover, smash, and crash.......
As soon as my car is done I will have it.....

Check them out...

Ed try classic car insurance. Clearly you have a awaiting restoration car..you just haven't gotten around to it yet....granted no insurance on the racetrack, and its supposed to be in a locked garage(if its not), but the thrill of putting your race car around your block with plates, insurance, and a sticker, and leaving the track in your race car and going to mcdonalds, can be a reality but only if you have a car that can be registered(ie has a title), Min value they will underwrite is 5K. You are covered while towing of course(races are just car shows with money)

Just to be safe, I also have race car insurance so if anything happens while the car is parked overnight, in the pits, etc, good to go.

PM me if you want specifics.

Eric

Rich is correct BISA & AO Underwriters in Michigan write on-track insurance, and offer additional coverage for racers.
