NO JUDGEMENT HERE But...Weed will stay in your system up to 30 days depending on your level of use. You can not flush it out with fluids. You can go to GNC, buy a product that may mask the test but is not 100% fool proof. If you levels are that high you may want to seek treatment. You liver will process alcohol at a rate of APPROXIMATELY 1 drink per hour. You can flush some of it out with fluids but the liver can only proces so much at a time.

I don't have a rule book handy, but I think the random drug testing policy applies to both racers and NHRA officials and employees. If this is true has anyone known of a NHRA official being randomly picked to submit to the drug test?

I seem to recall talking about this when a friend was pulled for the test and a safety safari guy said he's been pulled for testing

A few years back Ed got pulled for testing 3 races in a row. ( he has very long hair, perhaps not so random). He says he doesn't mind, nothing for him to worry about and only 15 minutes out of his day ... and a good safety measure.
Are you one of the guys: smoking pot in the woods, who live on pain pills, get so drunk the night before a race that you were still stumbling right before competition? Do I need to apologize if I don't want you lined up against my husband? BTW. I don't care how hot it is, if you don't pee in 24 hours something is very very wrong. Get to the first aid station fast. (Yeah, the drug test gives you 24 hours to produce, So, don't wait until the last minute!) "I decided to wait until the last minute, 'til the 23rd hour. I wasn't prepared to produce a sample -- an adequate sample,'' Guidera continued. " I was more than willing to but it just wasn't happening." quoting Matt Guidera

[QUOTE=Joe Pinkston;I wasn't trying to point fingers or anything like that, but I had never heard of a official being pulled for testing.
