Great that NHRA suspended a Pro Stock Motorcycle rider "BECAUSE" HE did not show UP FOR THE test.. HE HAD 24 hours TO SHOW UP.
CLERMONT, Ind. - Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Matt Guidera has been disqualified from this event and suspended for a period of one year it was announced today by NHRA officials.
Guidera failed to comply with the NHRA's drug testing policy within the required 24-hour time period.
NHRA drivers have 24 hours from the time they receive the drug testing paperwork from the testing lab to comply with the policy during the drug testing process.
Guidera will retain his points in the NHRA Full Throttle Countdown to the Championship.
Per the NHRA rulebook, Guidera is entitled to an appeal.

Nice to see how you already condemned him. In the interview with him today he claimed he had shown up in time... just wasn't able to "produce" sufficient volume in the cup. Big difference between not showing up and this I feel. Should be interesting to see if he wins his appeal. That said, it's a good thing to have the random testing.
