Dear Mr. NHRA,

1964 belvedre's NEVER came with the 273 so dropping the HP to 166 didn't help at all! That combination wasn't available until 1965!

NHRA only has $16 in their AFHS/HP Factoring budget and it looks like they spent the 2 hours of labor for the year. Don't be surprised if less cars are torn down throughout the year besides at Indy. They just don't have the money to waste on paying someone hourly to police our cars. They'll do it for Indy to keep pulling us saps in. Think About it. If they don't at Indy (all racers/NHRA pride and joy race) then they'll lose even more integrity with the Stock and SS racers and then we'll end up going elsewhere or back to bracket racing locally.

Smile Re: new HP factors

X Tech Man I just finished my SS'er to race SS/BA/CA and I've already bought my delay box, so I can go back to the bracket classes. I'm having a very hard time passing on races like the ($398 for a 5k/10k/50k/10k) Mid Mich race and 2500/5k/5K No Box challenge at Norwalk to go to 3 day divisionals and 3-4 day nat events.

I'll make an offer to anyone. I just want one class win trophy (Bye run or not). All you have to is dump in our heads up run and I'll cover the cost of your entry fee to the event Any takers

I bet you would put it out for anyone to see and brag how you beat Tony Schumacher for it..I think
you're more suited for bracket racing.

There you go the big one 1998 Indy class win.Only bid so far up to $202.A bargain.
