Anybody have any history on these guys?

Alright guys and gals, I have an idea. I was thinking of buying this and seeing if I could find someone to paint it to match Lloyd and D.G.'s car. I would then send it to Lloyd, maybe give him a smile and remind him of the good ol' days. Good idea or bad? Anybody good @ painting models?

I think that would be a great idea!! problem is i don't know anybody thats that good @ painting models.. since its die cast wouldn't it be kinda the same as doing a car... i mean sanding down, taping off & such....

You're probably right Daniel. But I'm not any good at that either, lol. I'm trying to get the car bought off of Ebay as we speak. If anyone can or knows someone that can paint something like this, please let me know. Daniel, we'll probably need more photos for this mission. You better get busy.

Here is a pic I took at Thunder Valley back in the early 80's. 3 miles on the clock and check out the tach!

My oldest son can do it. He's duplicated all mine and the 2 shelby's we got now.

Hey, on a side note, any of you Ford racers going to be in Tulsa this weekend for the Shelby meet?
