Bubski remembers the SSnDI mags of the day at the ford dealership with the dry erase board of who's "in n out" n there was a lot of people out unlike today !! Teardown is only a numbers game today !! CC's , bore , stroke , casting #s . Bubski could go on but id rather not !! What Bubski is saying !! is that in stock you don't get counted for grinder strokes across your heads n intake !! Only CC's n valve sizes !! N never cam journals !! That poor fella who got bounced for wheelbase !! What a joke !! Did they measure his wheelbase like a thrust angle alignment ??

They checked it with some homemade tool and a 10 cent tape measure. They measured 3 times and got a different measurement each time. Ask to take all four wheels off and measure that was to get and exact measurement. The response I got was “your still gonna get the same result. See you later”

Were you able to roll the car back and forth and then recheck it? I know the car does some great wheel stands has it ever came down hard that could of bent the lower control arms. You have done a great job driving the car, keep it up and put this behind you. Tom

I got tossed by Wesley at a Div 4 Meet in 2008. probably saved me a crash. The Rt. Front strut and lower control arm had issues. Could roll it back and get about 1" more than when you pushed the car forward.

First thing I thought of. Dummy wheel inserts with a cheap tape measure!! I had an issue years ago but I set my wheelbase with plumb bobs and a level concrete floor. I ended up lengthening my 4 link bars a 1/4" more afterward so wheelbase would comply with NHRA apparatus. I would've pulled a wheel. And last time in the barn I looked at NHRA's burette. Medical grade??!! LMAO, don't ask. Hopefully changed by now but sounds like if they're still using that antiquated wheelbase apparatus!!??!!!

Are you referring to that burette stand thing that looks like a piece of old t.v.antenna. Good luck for the future, John Kissel
