I know these are good folks and they have a great product but you see racers with these issues every year.
Lots of companies sell good reliable transmissions, but are there other companies that build them that are as fast? My particular application is a 904 Torqueflite. Bill |

What's the difference between A-1 and Pro Trans for a Turbo 350?

Nothing. I believe they are one of the same. Chrysler 904 billet aluminum internals installed into a TH-350 case. That's why they are so expensive.

Yes, they are insanely busy. Generally when you do get in line for
a transmission there are very few holdups because they make most of the exotic components in house. They are a family owned and operated shop......Darren just was married and he may be on honeymoon because the off season in racing is short. He certainly owed his new wife one as Monday after the wedding he was back at the shop putting in a full day of work! We have them in EVERY racer we own. We could buy the pieces our self and have someone else build them or do them our self as we used to do. However, we were NEVER as fast or seemed to get the longevity out of the units. Also when we buy the drums and straight cut gears obyiously we must wait until they have extra after providing the production for the transmissions they build themselves. Just spoke to them 1 hour ago and Darren the newlywed answered the phone. Don't forget about the time difference! I know here in Ohio we don't call out there until noon or so and that would be 9:00 or so for them.
