Derek Clark ran his SG Roadster at the Virginia Lucas Race this year and had no problems. Car has working doors and he just needed to put a little bit of weight in it.

to answer your questions, yes they are allowed, no need for tonneau, 2800nhra 2600ihra
I have a 1993 Nissan 300 zx convertible I am waiting for it to blow up. I will then make another s/st s/g car out of it.
