I'm curious what the Moroso calculator says for DeArmonds 9.71 @134.24 record or Ponds 9.68 @138.79 record ?

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

MOR-89650

That's the Summit part number for the latest (I assume) version of this old hoss...

The link, above, should take you to that Summit page. $8.95.

Think I'll order a new one; mine is about 40 years old, I think.... no kidding!

just curious.......I would hope someone would post when they get a heads race with one of these, as I want to know.........QUESTION ???

Your heads up, you cut a great light , have them by a full tenth at 660', do they make a 'whistling' sound when they blow by you?

A/SA,
I'm not sure that Moroso can offer much help for those numbers because they were set at a heavily factored track. But, lets give it a try. What did the cars weigh when they set the records? Not what you think they weighed. The actual weights please.

I have no idea of their weights on the record runs as I live on the east coast The camaro should be 3400ish if he can get to minimum. I also don't know if the Ford was running the 2 x 4 combo or 1 x 4 combo ? I was just curiious is all.

I think Fords idea behind this was to produce a car that you could run stock, superstock, AND super gas all at the same race, driving it off the showroom floor.............. Nice job Ford.

Yeah, Kevin; just don't forget to disable the active throttle stop when you're through running Super Gas.... lol!

The fomula i been using for a long, long time says 625...comparing dyno sessions and et's it have showed it a little conservative...so it's probably closer to 640-650 ...that is 134+ on the score board and minimum weight ofcourse..
