Well....on a Challenger there are no others in the Classification Guides, 2008 was the first limited production year (6400)...we have 2401...which is cool because we have #24 Drag Pak....
But when they are, the SRT8 was equipped with a different manifold than the LC22R...so no that wouldnt be legal.Other than that hood, and Motor mounts are the only Chassis items I can think of you couldnt do....BUT if you took a 2008 or 2009 Challenger and added all the parts to it....then yeah no Problem...same thing Doug Duell did....(well he did a LOT more than that) but he was going from Drawings and Photos...a LOT of research as the other DP cars werent in the wild yet. And EXACTLY the same as the Cloned Thunderbolts, Lightweight and clone, correct Hemi cars....on and on.... Yes you can duplicate it , and in the case of a Dodge, but all the parts to do it over the counter at the dealer....had we known the cars came the way they did, instead of waiting 16 months we would have taken Dougs path....My hats off to him , he actually had a harder road than us...by far...and should be mega proud of his car and its performance Im impressed.... |
