OK, it's the 21ST century. Stockers are never going to be seeing 7" tires and "stock" valve spring rules ever again.
What do youze guyz (sorry, I spent the weekend at Numidia) tink are the most significant and important technological advances driving Stock Eliminator into the future? Please no whining, we're just talkin' here. I'm thinking that the ability to gather data on a run has to be up there. So, Data logging.

Well, I did replace my Shiefer Rev Loc pressure plate and "L88" disk and 30 lb flywheel in my stocker with a fancy smancy double disk clutch setup that is faster and easier to tune.
Sorry Dale, but what is this torque converter thing you speak of ?

Data loggers are not unique to Stock, fellas. They've been around for decades in the higher classes. They've filtered down into Stock now, where some actually believe they are a requirement to be competitive , thus further raising the bar away from an entry level class.
I'd have to say the special, trick ring packs that fit the standard 5/64th , 1/16 grooves etc. are a significant Stocker technology.
