sbc stocker valve springs

Anyone willing to share what spring is being run on 305-350 engines. I try to get 200 closed and 400 open on our engines , but it's hard to get that much pressure without adding over .200 worth of shims. I've been running the 941 Comp springs but there too close to coil bind to suit me.Is there anything out there in a 1.260-1.290 spring that has around 200lbs@ 1.800 --400@1.400. Thanks for any replies. Bill

Isky make a good spring. Made the change from K-Motion to Isky Tool Room and live increased 3x. 200 on the seat at 1.800 might not be achievable but if it needs that kind of seat pressure maybe look at some lighter valve train components within the rules of course. Lol

PAC 1409X beehive. They are the new version of the very good 1409. They just start out higher with the same spring rate. If you have not checked them out, they are worth a look. We beat the crap out of them and they are really good and durable.

The nice thing about the beehive springs is that they are also lighter. PAC has the lightest design retainers as well. Light + Strong =Fun!
