I don't see how "all the caster you can get" would cause any "straight line" steering problems, even under hard braking, as more caster only makes the car harder to turn....
That being said. I'm not an expert at front end alignment, so I could be wrong....

Adger,
I run as much caster as the car will allow, and make the right and left evan. I use zero camber and 1/16 in on the toe setting. I do not have any problem at the top end braking. I think my car uns faster that yours.

Thanks..
I hate to be so anal about this steering/ front end adjustment, but in the past the front end/steering caused a crash for me. My car did real well with the set up it had until I decided to have the bump steer/ toe steer(showed up in videos) corrected by a well known shop. The car came back to me out of alignment, regardless of what the guy that did it says. I had been working on it trying to go to the Sports Nat.'s.. I finally got in touch with him (he was at the race I wanted to be at) and he has given me just about the same specs as you guys. So, I guess I'll forward, pun intended, with the alignment.
