The Moroso part number 97252 is the larger drive pulley for the electric motor that is 28% faster.

Thanks for all the replies guys, I'm getting a pump drive from a local S/SS racer. Maybe down the road I'll try an electric pump but I still think it would look silly having a "race" electric pump on a 302 2bbl, LOL!!!!

Following up Curtis's post above regarding those good quality 4 post drive motors. Installed one, and it works great. It's about 6 oz. heavier than the current replacement Moroso motor. In my application with a well used water pump, overdrive pulley, and "dry", the 4 post unit draws about 3 Amps vs. the Moroso's 3.5 Amps (roughly 3 yrs. of use).

I don't know if any one is using them on class cars but I am switching to a Davies Craig remote mount water pump. A huge weight savings and they cool some very high HP drag and drive cars.

I got the pump drive all installed and then to wire it, decided to run a 30A in line fuse and a relay to power the pump and the electric fan. Both on or both off, not sure if I'll like that but there it is.
Relay on right shock tower, |
