Looks like that kit is if you are installing a pinto rack into a Chevy II. It looks like the only place a rack can be used is GT and Modified with front wheel drive conversion. I could not find anywhere in the 2020 NHRA rulebook where the rack was accepted in regular Superstock, GT and modifieds, unless originally produced with a rack like a C4 Corvette later Mustangs and so on.
Richard Doane (RIP) used to modify these for the Chevy II guys not sure who else does them now. hope this info helps Ernie Neal SS 354 |

I've used the Global West bump steer kit on several early Deuces .
I does a great job of controlling the toe change .

I also have the kit that Eddie sells on the car that we're putting together. When i talked to Eddie he told me to send the steering parts that he would need to modify and he also sent me back the new parts in addition to the parts i sent him for the kit and the directions for alignment. I did that with my ‘96 Firebird. Heck, everything I have raced. Even my old ‘56 Chevy, Jr Stock days.
Had to make my own parts. Eddie is a sharp guy. I would not hesitate to buy what he offers.
