Depends. Have a friend that is the same height as me (slightly shorter than you) though his inseam is 4" less than mine. He would need a Ford GT40 roof blister in one for sure being so long in the torso, or a really reclined seat! My helmet is really close to the roof in one of these. Go to the next division or bracket race and ask to sit it one. You'll get a great chance to see how your view is restricted. A new Camaro seems to have a big blind spot looking over your shoulder with the roof/quarter panel design.

Thanks Bobby. I can fabricate the seat mounts and get the seat bottom 3/4” off the floor, but that only does so much. I would never run a blown version, rather thinking about turning a 100k mile V6 car from down south into a drag car. So I would put in a full cage, but not a funny car cage. And I am guessing I would need a removable steering wheel to get my Dad bod in there. Just thinking out loud at this point. Your idea is a good one though. Take my helmet and ask to sit in one at the next NHRA event I attend.
