I just located a letter from Zora Duntov stating that Chevrolet actually built 280 1970 Z28's with the off road cam. See you at the races!

Man, I'm glad nothing like this exists in the Pontiac world. Can I run a hood scoop on the Matador now?

Do you think the early Pontiac 3 barrel afb and manifold could get in, bet Norman would really like that!

Interesting! Could this have something to do with the Tech Dept. suddenly approving an (bogus) Edelbrock intake (and maybe more to come?) for Stock Eliminator?

This isn't over by a long shot! Keep calling and e-mailing your DTD and California with your thoughts!

I could understand if they still made the LD340, but it's been out of production for a long time. Modern replacement is in their RPM/RPM Air-Gap series.

Those intakes are for Thermoquads not AVS's. Jim

Wait Wait Wait

Hold the presses......

I wonder since the availability of the LD340 is limited will NHRA Tech now allow a superseded manifold to replace the LD340 such as............

Air-Gap
Torker/TorkerII
or
Victor

The jury is still out.....

Tech just gets defensive when questioning their reasoning.....
