Re: Windsheild with tinted glass
Cars in the 60's were generally available with either a clear windshield, or an optional shaded windshield. Back then tinted windows were generally standard on cars with air conditioning. New replacement windshields for older cars are easier to get shaded than clear , just more popular now. All are legal on the road or as a race car. If you give me some more info on your car(2 door , 4 door, convertible, sedan hardtop, polara or ? etc ) I will get you the nags part number and you can look around to see what is available to you. I have bought a windshield for a racer with a similar car to yours, I am sure there is some availability. When a racer asks me for a windshield and it is a popular one, I generally try to measure the thickness and get the thinnest one available to me so that there is a weight savings.
