Mr Markow. If I were to send you a K member. What do you charge to do that?
PM me if you would rather.
Thanks
Rob

Nice work, just what I need. I ran it past our div 6 tech guy and was a little surprised at his response,

Hi Jim. Got the low down on the wording interpretation on the removable crossmember. Apparently the removable wording only allows you to have removable pieces of the crossmember. It does not mean that you can have a removable section of the crossmember. Basically you can cut up the crossmember but you can't cut through it.

Dave

Has anyone had any issues with tech in other divisions?

That makes no sense? This mod to allow pulling the oil pan as Mark showed has been allowed since around 2008.

Under Stock Rulebook page 131

OIL PAN
OEM or NHRA-accepted aftermarket replacement oil pan
permitted. Windage trays and/or baffles permitted. Modifications
of any kind prohibited. Crossmember may be altered for oil pan
removal. If altered, all material and strength must be replaced by
boxing or installing removable or permanent material.

I don't think that was called for as his response came after he contacted Glendora.
