So does that rule read that you can modify the cross member that came on the car and make it removable and not make your own and make it removable.

I asked this question while building my car (rear wheel drive car). I was told as long I started with a factory K member I could do as I pleased with it. That was 2008 so things may have changed since then.

Ed Quay sells them for 82-92 but not sure about later models.
