Re: Cranks ?
The rules say OEM or Accepted aftermarket crank only. Problem is, NHRA lists no aftermarket crank for the 327 Chevy. I'm a ford guy. so that's an assumption.
Technically, there are no aftermarket cranks for any Super Stocks as the list reads Stock Eliminator Aftermarket Cranks. For rods it separates Stock and Super Stock. The list is a bit of a joke. The only listed crank for my 302 Ford is an Eagle part that hasn't been made in 9 years. Eagle has submitted the replacement for approval several times but nothing happens. I just went with a forged crank that matched stock weight and specs. I'll plead dumb if they say anything. Dale

Re: Cranks ?
In Super Stock, the rules stated it could not be billet (the forging line had to be visible, at least on the flange), and the counterweights could not be knife edged. They may have changed when aftermarket crankshafts were allowed in Stock.
You'll be hard pressed to find a small journal 3.25" stroke crank for anything close to a reasonable price.

Re: Cranks ?
I have a standard/standard, small journal, 3.25 steel crank that I would be willing to sell. If you're interested, send your phone number and I'll call you.
