Stock & Super Stock 4-speeds

Liberty makes the Equalizer (clutchless with dual cluster shafts) 5 speed that is legal in Super Stock. Liberty also makes an LSC 5000 (single cluster) and LSC 5100 that are legal in stock. The LSC 5000 and LSC 5100 are very similar in design to the old Doug Nash split clam shell type transmission. We run an LSC 5100 in our CobraJet, but run it in a 4 speed configuration. If you run any of the split clam sheel transmissions as a 5 speed you will have issues. We have had zero breakage problems running the LSC 5100 in 4 speed configuration.
