Crandall is called the Concrete Palace for a reason ! A all concrete pit area it's massive and even some on the north side of the track.
But the concrete makes the heat worse ............

It's a nice little track, big enough for the low car count IHRA races around here draw. Last one I went to filled the place up. No way they could hold an NHRA race there. Just too small. Very nice facility, just small.

First qual is in. 20 stockers I believe and 10 SS. I post sheets if I can. I went a 10.49 first pass. Still down about 3 mph. Back later
