On a lighter note, I've mounted up a few sets of front tires of different diameters(26,27.5,29) and if I can get to The Beav this weekend I'm going to be comparing them for the differences in RT and ET. It could be interesting!
I've done this kind of testing on mid 10-sec to high 11-sec cars. 2" in tire height will get you roughly .012-.015 in R/T, but will have much less effect on ET, probably half that. 2.5" was about .018. With the slower car, you might see slightly more.

Will a 3" change in tire height throw off your alignment job or make a 4-corner scale weight distribution change (for better or worse) in any meaningful way?
