I just got a set for the LT1 96 Firebird stocker that I am building. But I have not finished putting the engine together. They look alot like the factory lifters. The one thing I have not found out yet is how much travel they have. The rule says that hydraulic lifters can not be plugged or bottomed but it does not say how much travel they need to have. I sent a email to NHRA about it and never heard back. One person said they had to have .015 travel but I cannot find that anywhere. If anybody knows how much they do need to have I would appreciate the info.
