5.13 should be perfect with a 9x30 in a 5.0 H.O. Stocker.

I doubt you could run much lower gear than that in a 1/4 mi. Something like a 5.71 would be great for 1/8 mile though.

You building a stock or super stock, or just upgrading the rear you have in your Mustang now?

Im trying to upgrade my ole' Mustang bracket car to run crate motor stock. It has a 4.56 in it with a 28x10 tire, I put a set of 30x9 radials on it and it needs more gear. I need something to drop my R/T's too, thought a 5.13 and radials would pick them up to. The car will probably just run a 1/4 mile two or three times a year max.
