Note: The Comet Cyclone GT came equipped with fabricated headers from the Southern California Mercury Dealership.

Headers; 1 5/8" primary tubes, 32" length, 10" collectors, with 3" openings.

Note: The collector caps were removed, and the test was performed with open headers.

Note: Shift points; 1st to 2nd (4800 RPM), 2nd to 3rd (4600 RPM).
