Actually Scott had to re-run the back-up pass due to a leaf passing thru the top-end beams 1/2 way into the pass on Saturday.
Had that not happened he would have set the record well into the 7.90 range!

Good to see Rob Latter back at the track with Scott after his accident last season!

Everyone should know where Dennysville Maine is!
Congratulations

So is it a P5 Head Pro Stock Truck style motor?

It's fast what ever it is!

If I had to venture a guess, I would say Wes Leopold Jr, from Friday at the Dutch. 8.421 @ 163.12 in SS/AS. He ran 8.45 @ 162 on the second run, and I believe set the new AS record. Quickest run in class history by a tenth. George Vignogna went 8.52 on Friday in SS/AS also.

And, congrats to Scott on his awesome runs this weekend. Saw he ran 8.00/168 and 7.99/169 today, also.

Congrats to Scott, first naturally aspirated super stocker in the 7's!!!!
Your memory does not serve you well. It's not a full tube chassis car. I have some pictures of the car and the First SS Run in the 7's. John and Marka worked very hard and deserve a lot of credit for achieving such a lofty goal. Congratulations to Scott for his success as well.

Thumbs up Re: Scott Gove - 2nd Super Stocker in the 7s

You certainly deserve alot of credit Scotty. Most people do not realize the unbeleivable amount time and effort you have put into this car. You are truly dedicated to pushing this car to its limits, and you have! Lets hope there is some more in it. Way to go my friend, good job.
