Total BS to outlaw these, if they did . Plug in, plug out , long tip ,short tip, big, small. What's the difference? Unmachined plug hole. Get it?
These are the same people that ALLOWED Shubeck lifters in Stockers.

It looked like they weren't going to be legal. May have to re-install.

Jim,

You are correct; there was a miscommunication, which caused the Tech reminder to be posted. When additional information was provided the reminder was removed from the web-site. With that said it is currently legal to run/use the spark plug adapters.

Pat or Bruce,

Would you answer Jim Schaechter on his email about spark plug adaptors being legal. And also copy me as we have a LODRS at Columbus, OH next week.

Thanks,

Ritch

Maybe a miscommunication. If you hear anything please let me know. Am I safe in running these still? I have a letter stating that they are legal and nothing else to go on. Jim

>>Ritch, what is the story with the spark plug adapters? I saw the letter
>>from Bruce that allowed them, which everyone acknowledged. I just saw that someone posted a "reminder" that spark plug adapters are not legal. If we are talking about the same thing here, that would not be a reminder, but rather a reversal of a prior decision made by NHRA. I am confused. Did Bruce change his mind? Is it possible that no one in NHRA Tech in Glendora knoew that these were already approved. It is difficult to follow. Plese fill me in. I understand the right of NHRA tech to make a change, but they don't acknowledge it, so I wanted to be sure. It was pretty clear to me that Conway asked and received permission in advance here. Thanks, Jim

What exactly do these adapters do?

Anyone have a picture of one?

Where do you get them?

Thanks for any information.

They really help 283 and 265s the most!!! They have a more primitive chamber.
