Congrats to Scott, first naturally aspirated super stocker in the 7's!!!!
Your memory does not serve you well. It's not a full tube chassis car. I have some pictures of the car and the First SS Run in the 7's. John and Marka worked very hard and deserve a lot of credit for achieving such a lofty goal. Congratulations to Scott for his success as well.

John Gallina was definitely the first...I saw the car do it at Mission BC. 7.989, May 2, 2003

You certainly deserve alot of credit Scotty. Most people do not realize the unbeleivable amount time and effort you have put into this car. You are truly dedicated to pushing this car to its limits, and you have! Lets hope there is some more in it. Way to go my friend, good job.

Congratulations, Scott. According to his website, Scott ran 7.97 / 171 twice at Atco on 10/26/06.

Does anyone know the Cu.In. and weight specs for his car? Is it a 2x4 carb setup? If it is, I'm wondering what the quickest 1x4 car in SS is.

I believe he has 358 cu.in., and the weight break for SS/AM is 7.50 - 8.49 lbs. per cu. in. with a 2650 lb. minimum; it is a 2x4 carb setup.
