Default Fuel Line Question

I've got my fuel cell for my Duster project, it has a #10 fitting at the rear for the
line to the electric fuel pump/filter setup.

I want to run a 1/2" line to the front of the car to feed the Holley carb/regulator.
Should it be metal or Aluminum or S/S braided line??

Is Summit as good a place as any to purchase fittings and lines?

If someplace local is better, I'm in Southern California near Disneyland.

As always I'm open to opinions and comments.

Thanks in advance.
