Crossmember mods in stock eliminator

According to NHRA rulebook sec 11A page 5 it is legal now to modify the crossmember to be able to remove the oil pan . Has anyone done this to a first gen Camaro with a big block ? If so would you offer any information or pics , thanks in advance
