Total purse it over $11,000 if you add up the entire purse with all the round money. That's the part not enough people are talking about. It pays good money way back which is awesome. They could easily make it more top-heavy to appear more appealing, but they made it racer friendly. You won't have to win the whole thing to justify going like you do with NHRA.

Not for S/SS.

You can find better purse to entry ratio in other forms of racing, but not for a sanctioned stock/SS race where racing is more equal and there are no buy-backs

The only problem with the national event that I see is the amount of classes that they are attempting to run in a 2 day race. I just dont see that happening even if they only have one Q run in each class then go into rounds. Supposedly they will run a pro am on Thursday and Friday before the national for a double race weekend. Righy now i plan to go to the last race of the year at Galot. We will see how that all unfolds between now and then.

I don't know, but they cover the purses at 38 cars each.

The pro-ams are on wed-thurs without any of the pro classes (only TD, TS, STK, SS, QR, SR, HR) while the national event is Friday-Sunday. I feel like they can get all the classes contested in 3 days, not 2.
