Default Battery Charger

I've had another Optima Digital 1200 crap out on me. Any good made in USA chargers out there? 12v or 12v/16v. What are you guys using?

I've been using a Schumacher for forever. No issues. I even ran over it with my race car a few years ago and broke the handle off, sumbich still charges no problem. Allegedly drug it to the staging lanes once too.

I’m also still using a Schumacher charger I purchased when I started racing in super street in the mid 80’s. Looks like crap but I never ran over it or drug it through the pits LOL.
I purchased a new charger a few years ago but it died in 12 months so I just went back to the old one.

I have had a couple of the moroso
Versions of these for years and they are awesome!
I like that they can go 12 or 16 volts as well

Moroso has been selling this charger for decades, Rock was more recent though they are no longer selling it. That said, you are correct, awesome charger.

The other made in the USA battery charger with a great reputation is Associated though they manufacture mostly wheeled chargers, but they do have three "portable" non wheeled chargers.

I've been using a Scumacher, actually a Sears, for many years. It has made the trip to the staging lanes with no problems. It's fully manual bare bones.

Thank you. I don't think Schumacher is made in USA anymore unless I found a 20 year old version on marketplace. Amazing my dad's Sears charger from the '70s still works too. I am looking into Interacter.
