With the start of the 2024 racing season , NOW would be a great time for SOME of you guys to Familiarize yourself with the current AHFS rules …Let MJ offer you a few tips…If you are in a heads up run and have your opponent treed by .05 AND can outrun him by TWO tenths, it’s OK to let off before the finish line. ALSO, if you OR your opponent red lights, it’s OK to let off at the 1000 foot cone INSTEAD of hammering ANOTHER one second under run ….

Isn't this where someone is supposed to say "that person works hard, probably harder than you, you need to work harder, if it's that fast it needs hp anyways, he's a nice guy, it's his car, he's racing like you're supposed to race, he's free to piss on his own shoes (and yours) for no good reason if he wants to"...

Dan, it's not as much working hard as spending hard. a lot of racers don't have the wallet to buy all the "enhanced parts"to go fast.

Nevermind, I see that the #2 and #3 qualified cars at Belle Rose set sail with early 80s 305s. oof. I guess more power to them, just don't kill me too bad. The 305 got a ton of HP last year and it looks like they aren't done yet. Out of curiosity, the 80-84 305 camaro took a hit last year but the malibu didn't. I'm told it's all platform based, that's why I didn't get HP last year (before I finished the car mind you all). Would a malibu setting the world on fire hurt me, or only another station wagon? Would that be considered the same platform? idk how that gets decided.

The Malibu that just won Belle Rose made 6 one second under passes in K/SA and most definitely puts your combo in jeopardy. The bad news is if your combo can’t run K/SA none of your runs will count to lower his average. Hope this helps Good luck this season
