Default Train To The City Of New Orleans

On my way to Jimmy Hidalgo’s Used Car Sales to pick up a potential dime rocket. It a turbo Chevy it could be fun. You know the 70 th Indy is fast approaching.

Train was only 10 minutes late and so far top speed has been 81 mph. Seats are pretty good they have room for me to stretch out.

And you get to see 500 miles of Christmas lights. Seen some real nice ones.

I did discover a down side of the trip at least for me. I could not stand up in the restroom do to a short ceiling.

And the turbo car is not in the Guide. I have about 6 and half hours to go on the trip.

Leaving Memphis I spotted a 1961 Impala 4dr hardtop that looked to be still in service with the blue and white very faded OEM paint.

At the refinery we passed tanker trucks were lined up 5 to 6 deep at more than 10 refueling lanes.

A lot of the railroad car art was kinda kool
